Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall has a general architectural area of 33,000sq.m. total 38 exhibition rooms in different types. The central room in arch shape and situated in the center of the building, with an area of 2368m2, the height from the vault to the ground is 19.6m, the span is 32m, it has 8 movable electric cabinets, each of which is 110kw in capacity, the ground is capable of undergoing a load of 15 ton/m.2, it is suitable to exhibit large equipment, the other exhibition rooms locate in the East, the West and the South.

The Exhibition Hall has its own transformer, the general capacity is 1000kw, the frequency is 50hz, and the voltage are 380v and 220v(three phrases, four wires system), it is equipped with the communication equipment such as telephone exchanger, telephones, faxes, computers, etc. The information communicates all over the country and world.

About Shenyang


Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning province in China. It is located in the southern portion of northeastern China, the middle of Liaoning province, and the hinterland of Liaodong peninsular. It is facing Bohai beach and on the back of Changbai Mountain. It's between 122°25￠ 92 and 123° 48￠ 242of the east longitude, and 41°11￠512 and 43°2￠132 of the north latitude. The greatest height above sea level is 447.2 meters (within the territory of Faku County); the lowest point is 5.3 meters (within the territory of Liaozhong County). Shenyang is of the half-moist continental climate influenced by monsoon in the North Temperate Zone, and therefore four seasons are clearly demarcated. It turns warm quickly in spring and is with good sunshine; rains and heats come together in summer and the air is moist; the weather is cool and comfortable in autumn; it's cold with ice and snow in winter, which shows a beautiful scene of northern city. The average temperature of a year is 9.7°C, the lowest temperature is -24.2°C, and the highest one is 32.2°C. The precipitation is 1337.7 mm, the time of sunshine is 2289.2 hours, and the frost-free period is 188 days. Total volume of water resources is 3.26 billion m3/year, among which, surface water is 1.14 billion m3; groundwater is 2.12 billion m3, water is 137313 hectares. The area of the city is 12,980 square kilometers (the east-to-west length is 115 kilometers, south-to-north length is 205 kilometers.) The urban area is 3495 square kilometers. The area of forest is 147013 hectares, with a coverage rate of 23.91%, and the average green area/ person is 4.36m2.. The total population is 6.851 million (4.85 million in urban area), and the density of population is 528/square kilometer (1373/square kilometer in urban area). It governs 1 city, 3 counties, and 9 districts. It has established five development zones.


The history of Shenyang can be dated back to as early as the 11th century when the Mongolians were in power in the North China. Then it became the capital of the Manchu Houjin Empire in the seventeenth century when the city was known as Mukden. When the Manchus, having defeated the Ming rulers there, moved to Beijing in 1644, and established the Qing dynasty, Shenyang declined in importance. The city began to take on its modern, industrial role with the arrival of the Russians in the nineteenth century. The Japanese, the winners of the Russian-Japanese War, drove the Russians out of Shenyang and dominated the city until 1945, exploiting the regions natural resources. The city also became a major battle field in WWII when it was the scene of the "September 18 Incident" of 1931, which marked the beginning of the Japanese invasion. Seventeen years later, the Communist Party won the campaign of Liaoshen against the Kuomintang here, which was regarded as the significant turning point of the bitter national war. In recent history Shenyang became well-known in China as an important power base for the more radical hardline factions in Chinese politics.


In light of elementary statistics, in the year 2004, Shenyang city realized gross regional product amounting to a value of 189.6 billion yuan, up 15.5% year on year and up 64.2% over the year 2000. The local financial revenue was 13.82 billion yuan, up 33.5% year on year and up 1.97 times over the year 2000. The investment on capital assets was 97 billion yuan, increasing 66.5% over the past year and up 3.1times over the year 2000. The actually utilized foreign direct investment value was 2.2 billion US dollars, up 50.7% over the past year and up 3.1% times over the year 2000. The total volume of the social consumer goods retail was 80.88 billion yuan, up12.1 % over the past year and up 53.8% over the year 2000. The urban citizens’ per capita disposable income was 8880 yuan while the peasants’ per capita net income was 4280 yuan, up 11.5% and 12% over the past year respectively, which also meant an incease of 51.8% and 36.5% over the year 2000.

No wonder it is so delectable to see that Shenyang was nominated as one of “China’s ten major cities with the most energetic economy”. What’s more, as the economy of Shenyang keeps leaping forward, the environment is well protected. In the year 2004, Shenyang won a fame of “national environment-protection model city”. It is easy to see that Shenyang is taking the road of sustainable development.
